I logged into AdSense yesterday to switch over my last few remaining sites after being banned from YPN and noticed a new feature:

Google has added the option google_ui_features to their AdSense code. The value can either be rc:0 for square corners, rc:6 for slightly rounded corners or rc:10 for very rounded corners - providing 0, 6 and 10 pixel radii respectively. I’ve already tried putting my own values in and the radius is preset by AdSense, so you’re stuck with 0 6 or 10 for now.
Here’s an example:
This is huge for those of us who still care about aesthetics. There’s something visually pleasing about anti aliased rounded corners that is very (pardon the over hyped phrase) Web 2.0. As far as I have seen however, this does not work with image ads - only text ads, although I would love to see this feature as well.
It’s nice to know Google is still finding ways to improve the delivery of AdSense.

Mmm… that looks sexy, didn’t notice that yet, but must go and try it out now.
I’m sure that can even higher our CTR. I’ve added a rounded DIV around an ad before, just because it looks better. Guess I don’t have to do that anymore.
I thought this was interesting, I’m sure MSP users would love to know more about you even if it’s not personal, but about your sites etc. With that said, you’ve been tagged!
