Unless you’ve been hiding out in your dorm room, or in your basement and avoiding all social contact, you know Miami is an ultra-hot spot. There are dozens of electrifying night clubs frequented by throngs of glamorous women and a seemingly endless procession of famous stars. It’s basically a reality show just waiting to happen.
But how well do you really know Miami? Do you know not just the hot spots, but the cool ones too? These sizzling, artistic, and ultra-cool nightspots are must-see spots in a city famous for amazing nightlife.
LIV at Fontainbleau: The Iconic Miami Hot Spot
There’s really no bigger, or better nightclub than LIV in the Fountainbleau Hotel. In fact, the name is practically synonymous with South Beach. It’s a sprawling, multi-level venue drawing big names like Kaskade and David Guetta. The mega-nightclub has a domed ceiling, sparkling chandeliers and a dizzying array of lights. Pony up the dough for a VIP table and be treated to a night you will never forget.

Get Intimate at Mokai Lounge
Another mega-club that has a much different vibe is Mokai Lounge. It’s not a party or dance venue but it does have a very intricate display of mirrors, lights and a dramatic bar, which is the focus of every night. It’s well-known for attracting big-name celebrities and extremely gorgeous women looking for a good time.
Along with a big collection of fashionable art, every night you are sure to hear a DJ spin a mix of popular hip-hop and rap on the turntable.
Party Until Dawn at The Broken Shaker at Freehand
This one’s not exactly the place to go to spot famous people, or to experience the sizzle of a Miami night. It’s more of a place to go to avoid the paparazzi and it has a true flavor all its own. A comfortable bar that’s not too obsessed with itself, you won’t find a mass of women fussing with their makeup in the bathroom. You will find masses of women talking about their tattoos.

It’s a laid-back atmosphere with a cool vibe, and drinks made with real herbs. You might appreciate this after a few nights under the neon lights and strobes. Plus, there’s a pool!
Surprised to see a bar like this on the list? There’s more to Miami than you might think. Do a little more research on Miami, hotels bars and clubs via a Miami travel guide and get the entire story, including travel tips and pointers from those who really know this multi-dimensional hot spot.
Wall Lounge is Where the Athletes Hang
Want to bump into someone like A-Rod, or Serena Williams? Head to Wall, a tremendously hip, cool and ultra-VIP-focused club. What this club lacks in size, it makes up for in energy. The party really gets going later into the evening and early morning as the DJs pump up the crowd with high-energy sets.
Expect a fabulous display of colorful lighting, modern, high-intensity design and chic-fab decor that’s both retro and futuristic at the same time.
