So it’s that time of year again, the time of year when you need a little break to go on a family holiday.

France is always a popular holiday destination for young families from the UK and it’s easy to see why. It’s beautiful and the short travelling time makes it very convenient.
There are many quaint towns, beautiful beaches, rugged coastline, beautiful natural scenery, medieval castles, all of which make for a fun and exciting family holiday.

Rhodes Island, Greece
What is to not enjoy about the Greek Islands? Rhodes is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Greek Islands, and it’s perfect for families. There are so many great activities here. You can relax and play on the beautiful beaches, and there are plenty of great water sports activities for the kids.
You can even take your family on an adventure to the Acropolis in Lindos where the whole family is sure to be fascinated by the ancient ruins, and then go for a walk in beautiful Lindos Town.
Barcelona is one of the most popular destinations in Spain and it’s not hard to see why. It is also a destination that is perfect for young families because of the many activities available. You and your family will have a great time in Barcelona with the endless amount of delights in the city.
There is a great zoo here perfect for young families. There is the fascinating Mammoth Museum, which is one of a kind. Then you’ve got the amazing beaches that line the city. The beaches can get crowded but they are still great for a relaxing afternoon in the sun. If you feel like something different, you can even take your family to see some of Gaudi’s whacky and weird creations, which will be an unforgettable experience.
Swedish Lapland, Sweden
Swedish Lapland is an area of Scandinavia that is full of endless delights. You and the kids will have a fascinating time here because there are many activities that are so unique, and the destination itself is one of a kind. Then there are the activities. There are the usual theme parks, zoos, and museums. If you and the family want a bit more fun and action then you can even try kayaking or if you’re up for it, husky sledding, which is a unique experience. Either way, you will find yourself with plenty to do in Swedish Lapland.
Eastern Switzerland may not be the cheapest destination but it is sure to a great family holiday. Best thing about this region is it’s perfect in both summer and winter. If you come in winter you’ll experience some of the best skiing in Europe. You can take the kids skiing and there are also many stunning valleys and mountains to explore and see.
During summer you’ll find plenty of great opportunities to go cycling with the family or you can spend an afternoon relaxing along the shores of Lake Constance. If you fancy something indoors then you’ll find plenty of culture in St Gallen with its many museums and historical landmarks.
