It’s recommended to always find time to research other options such as grocery store or ask around for suggestions. This will help you to acquire fresh foods such as fruits and also water, which you can stock up in your fridge back at your hotel. It is also important to avoid stopping at fast food chains giving fatty, high calorie fries and burgers. Shop around and seek for vendors with healthy menu options.
Buffets, Hell no!
For breakfast, most people opt for buffets commonly offered by hotels. Typically, these buffets are loaded with quick and easy options which do not necessarily provided you with the required fiber and protein to adequately begin the day. Most recommended meals for breakfast have low calorie and sugar variations. Combine them with fruits such as bananas. If the buffet offered at the hotel is your only option, avoid the pastries as they make your morning sluggish due to their high sugars. Grilled meat and fish is always an alternative to the fried options. Avoid heavy dressing. Observe and manage your eating habits and you are sure to reach your destination energetic and healthy.
